We are looking for a Business Development Manager who can lead and support the company’s growth in the US. As a Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to scope and manage projects in the US all while driving business goals with specific focus on US clients.
You will be responsible for leading projects and sales goals. Projects need to be aligned with the company’s strategies and targets, and you need to therefore be able to confidently prioritize and guide the delivery of projects within a fixed time.
The ideal candidate has a sales, business development and/or marketing experience ideally with a strong background in commercial operations and human resources (ideally) whom can communicate effectively with regional and international clients.

The Business Development Manager (US) will be focusing on bringing new opportunities, and clients. You will collaborate with Sterk in Matches to achieve the company goals! You will support, shape and develop business strategies and partnerships to drive growth and influence the direction of the company. A strong candidate for this position will have equally strong commercial skill an ability to find opportunities and contribute ideas to the growth of the company in collaboration with the CEO.
Location: This work in remotely with the opportunity to visit our offices in The Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
• Pursue new external opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Identify new opportunities and collaborate with partners.
• Develop and maintain internal and external networks by creating strong relationships to drive collaboration.
• Collaborate with the CEO and the Marketing Manager.
• Communicate clearly and consistently.
Education
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
Experience
• Three years of business experience in a commercial role. 2-5 Year’s experience in Sales and/or Business Development
• Experience in supporting the execution of multiple acquisitions from start through close.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
• Strong business, negotiation and decision making skills are required.
• Strong relationship building skills, with a commercial focus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills
